As the end of the school year looms ever closer, students look back upon their favorite moments throughout the year. From everyday sparks of joy to memorable events, CORE students have been living large this past year.
One of the most popular moments of this last year was the winter formal, a starry night themed dance hosted at the Patrick Ranch Museum. With the hottest tunes blasting from the speakers of the DJ, who also happened to be the husband of our very own science teacher, the vibe was positively electric.

Others enjoyed class projects that brought the community together, of which they were many throughout the school year. From the compelling performances of our theater and music programs during our student showcase to the art program’s efforts to add a dash of brilliance into our everyday lives through innovative projects, the CORE community’s talent was on full display throughout the year.
“My favorite moment was getting to share my interest with my friends and inviting them to performances. Sharing the cool things that I get to do here.” -Canvas Biagi

Another highlight of the school year was the many momentous and monumental athletics accomplishments of our school’s sports teams. From soccer kicking the year off with a bang to our varsity team ending an almost seven year dry spell, 2024-2025 was an awesome year for CORE athletic jockeys.
“My favorite moment was soccer season. I like soccer.” -Adrik Dyer
“I liked when we won our first home game.” -Amanda Mabie
On the other hand, some students preferred the small everyday moments of joy throughout the year over the more eventful happenings. At a small campus as beautiful as CORE, there are many such small moments of beauty that introspective students can appreciate.
“I would say my favorite part was friends. Just hanging out, being able to hang out at school.” -Chloe Evan
“I liked finding bugs on the ground.” -Eliana Feather
As we conclude the school year, slaying the last of our finals and bidding farewell towards our seniors and early graduates, it is important to look back fondly upon all of the fun that we have had this school year. FIngers crossed, the next is just as good.
