Elijah Ordaz a senior student at CORE Butte High School had a great memory, “The best memories I had with the Bidwell Mansion is from when I was a kid, my school went on a field trip to the Bidwell Mansion, it was really cool to see all of the artifacts. When I was little and even to this day I loved learning about history and going to see and listen to the past of Chico. The paintings I got to see were awesome and really brought the Bidwells to life.”Luke Arnold a CORE Butte sophomore had a great memory of the Bidwell Mansion,“The Mansion is a great place and it was very beautiful I do feel sad about the fact that it burnt down my family loved going there after getting food from downtown chico and we would always get frozen yogurt and then walk over to the Bidwell Mansion.”
Josh Iler, a CORE Butte freshman, had a great memory of the Bidwell Mansion, “When me and my family went on tour of the Bidwell Mansion, I was small and didn’t think it was that cool but the one thing I found that was funny was seeing a toilet full of apples. It was a very nice toilet though.”
