The Cal Skate party was held May 8th, as a result of the Pennies for Patients fundraiser reaching $1,500. An opportunity that was open to all, it provided an interesting late-year event to look forward to. As always, this event was set up by ASB.
As CORE junior Blaine Kringle put it, there was a “Lotta skating at the Cal Skate”, as well as two skate-based games. There was a “Red light green light” game, which had a goal of getting to a cone to put on your head, and a four corners-esque elimination game.
If you went to the Cal Skate party, let us know in the comments what you thought! Did you have a good time? And if you didn’t, was there any specific reason?
