CORE Butte is building a brand new sports complex and this is what you need to know about it.
Q – When will it be finished?
A – There are two major sections, the field and the track. The field is scheduled to be done at the beginning of August,” Mr Harvey said. “The track will be finished in September.”
Q – What sports will be held there?
A – There will be a variety of new sporting opportunities, including track, soccer, and softball.
Q – Wait…where is it?
A – It is being constructed directly behind the gym.
Q – Who has access?
A – Although it will be on campus, the complex will only be open to students during games and/or practices, not throughout the school day.
Q – Who helped build it?
A – “We have saved money, pursued grant funding, and held fundraisers to raise the money needed to construct it,” Mr Harvey relayed. “The construction company that is now doing the work is R&R Horn.”.
