From Oct. 9 through 11, the California State University, Chico (Chico State) is holding a “Wildcat Weekend.” Prospective students, family, friends, and even alumni are encouraged to attend this informative event on the Chico State campus, where they can be a part of instructional presentations and tours. The weekend will also include sports games, performances, and family-friendly activities.
While the campus is open to the public all weekend, CORE students are particularly encouraged to attend on the eleventh, from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m.. This portion of the weekend is geared toward first-time applicants and students considering attending Chico State. During this “Wildcat Preview Day,” students will have the privilege of meeting current faculty and students involved in the major they are interested in. Students will also have the opportunity to learn about and see the college campus in person, while experiencing campus culture firsthand. While most activities on Saturday are free, for those attending the “Wildcat Family Barbecue,”the purchase of a ticket will be required.
Seniors can easily access the flyer for this event through the Senior Google Classroom, where they can register to attend. Alternatively, you can reach the flyer and registration form by accessing csuchico.edu, and then searching for “Wildcat Preview Day.”
