The Pennies for Patients fundraiser has concluded, and we sure have raised a lot of pennies. If you remember from the previous story, the original goal was $1,500. We have completely surpassed this goal by raising $2,183.65. This comes out to an excess of $683, an impressive sum.
If you were not aware, Pennies for Patients is an annual fundraiser set up by Core Butte High School to donate money to various good causes. The fundraiser comes with multiple goals for the community to reach. $375, we get a schoolwide pizza party, $750 is an ice cream party, at $1,125 students get to pie Mr. Harvey, and at $1,500 we get a Cal Skate party.
