Yesterday, the 9th of October, our strong chain of Lynx cuffed the Bulldogs ’round the chin, securing this victory in a dramatic full-count back-and-forth. The Lynx won handily in set one, 25-16; in an exceedingly close contest in set two, the Lynx barely came to defeat 24-26; in a swap of the first set, CORE was smacked about, 16-25 in set three; in set four, another swap transpired, this time of set two, the Lynx snatched a victory 25-23 in a hard fought bout; finally, the Lynx showed their mettle and prevailed neatly to the sound of 15-6.

Sam Leonard was born and lived much of his as yet short life in Washington State. He moved to Chico in the summer of 2024, and, after finding Chico High to be disagreeable to his constitution, enrolled at Core Butte shortly thereafter, finding a community which he is greatly fond of. Sam is a senior and looking forward to entering a university of some sort upon his nigh graduation. He enjoys journalism because it provides a means to enlighten his peers and himself through apprisals of topics of interest.
