Are you interested in playing basketball for CORE? Here’s some helpful information to help you get that done:

If you’re interested in playing this year, pick up a packet from the front desk. These packets are necessary and need to be filled out by November 1st. Tryouts and practice start at the beginning of November. You must have had passing grades last spring to be eligible to play basketball this year. 

Another important part to remember is to keep up with your work. Keeping up with your work is a priority when playing basketball. Besides being a key trait to success, this ability will help you stay on the team. Otherwise, you may get taken off the team.

If you are wondering about fees, there’s no need to worry because it is free to play. There is a new face, Mikayla Bumgarner, as our new JV Coach. The boys varsity coach is Ben Salberg, along with Don Freeir as assistant coach, both from last year. The girls’ Varsity coach will be Mr.Freer, and Sierra Hayse as assistant coach. 

So get ready to show your skills and passion for the game, basketball season is about to begin!
