CORE’s volleyball team unfortunately suffered quite the drubbing yesterday; though it was a rather superficial one. While the varsity and JV teams garnered not a single game between them, they managed a respectable showing. For the crowd was in doubt of the outcome for each game, and was often roused to shouts of merriment or groans of anticipation unfulfilled. JV lost 7-25 and 22-25. Varsity lost 24-26, 14-25 and 15-25.
Though swept, the teams maintained their good spirits. “It was not our best,” said Head Coach Kelsey Klick. “But, it’s only our third one…and I just know we’re going to get better and better.”
